Tiësto and PROPHECY Deliver the Official EDC Las Vegas 2024 Festival Anthem With Their New Collab “My City” on Insomniac Records / Musical Freedom

Global dance music sensation Tiësto joins forces with fast-rising duo PROPHECY on “My City,” serving as the official EDC Las Vegas 2024 festival anthem, released by Insomniac Records and the former’s own Musical Freedom label.

Dutch powerhouse Tiësto has been a staple of EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival) for decades on end, taking his elite tastemaker status seriously with countless headlining performances at the annual gathering throughout its storied history. Set after unforgettable set, he has shown that no one has their finger on the pulse of dance music quite like he does. Ahead of his highly anticipated performance at EDC Las Vegas this week, the illustrious DJ and producer is bestowed the honor of delivering the official festival anthem for this year’s installment.  

Enlisting the help of buzzing Spanish production pair PROPHECY, they work in-tandem to bring “My City” to life. Paying homage to one’s hometown, the dancefloor-ready offering is bolstered by a commanding vocal that proudly claims the streets as its own. The sense of unwavering loyalty extends itself over into the track’s electrifying house groove, which is propelled along by buoyant basslines, sharp percussive accents, and electro-tinged arpeggiations that roll up and down the rhythm effortlessly in a similar fashion that only locals would know their way around. 

In addition to soundtracking the festival, Tiësto and PROPHECY’s “My City” collab is also claiming the coveted top spot on the official ‘EDC Las Vegas 2024’ compilation album, a staggering 90-track collection of essential tunes providing a sonic snapshot of this year’s edition of EDC. It leads the charge alongside music from Mau P, Sara Landy, HYPERBEAM (Odd Mob x OMNOM), Seven Lions, Nicole Moudaber,Culture Shock, Virtual Riot, Cristoph, BEC,and many more.
