Summary:
Maison Ruinart is marking the first anniversary of its 4 RUE DES CRAYÈRES space in Reims with a spectacular light show befitting the world’s oldest Champagne maison.
The historic Champagne house has collaborated with Dutch artist and innovator Daan Roosegaarde to present “SPARK”, a luminous light show in which thousands of biodegradable sparks silently project into the sky, creating artificial constellations across various different tones. The duo considers this a sustainable alternative to traditional fireworks, with the lights being both biodegradable and without the negative environmental impact of the traditional kind, and the installation will see thousand of floating lights come together in a cloud formation that’s approximately 50 x 50 x 50 metres large.
Ruinart’s 4 RUE DES CRAYÈRES space consists of gardens, a bar, and famous chalk cellars that allow visitors to experience the oldest Maison of Champagne space in a unique way.
Reservations can be made on the Ruinart website.
