Roskilde Festival 2024 announces 15 new music acts, including Action Bronson, Shygirl, and Scarlxrd. This year’s edition of the Danish non-profit festival offers nearly 200 concerts and over 100 events. Starting now, festival participants can plan their festival experience with this year’s schedule.
Three weeks ago, Roskilde Festival unveiled this year’s full lineup, one of the most diverse of its kind in the festival’s history. Today, Roskilde Festival unveils the schedule, providing a detailed overview of when and where artists such as SZA, Doja Cat, Foo Fighters, 21 Savage, Tyla and PinkPantheress will perform this summer.
Simultaneously, Roskilde Festival expands the lineup one last time with 15 new music acts, including Action Bronson, producer and singer Shygirl, amapiano pioneer Musa Keys, and Scarlxrd, who blends trap with heavy metal.
“Now, our participants can truly get an overview of this year’s programme and delve into locations and times. The launch of the schedule is therefore a significant event for many. But even though one tries to plan their journey through Roskilde Festival 2024, they will certainly also be surprised and led astray along the way – just as it should be!” says Roskilde Festival’s Program Director, Anders Wahrén.
More artists and activists added to the programme
Roskilde Festival also expands the Art & Activism programme with seven names. Among them is Solidarity With Palestine, addressing the war and humanitarian crisis in Gaza and celebrating Palestinian culture. The programme also features the renowned New Zealand graffiti artist RAMS, who decorates Roskilde Festival’s facade, while students from the National Film School of Denmark showcase short films on the screens at Orange Stage.
“Roskilde Festival is created to make a difference for others, even far from the festival’s experiences, art, and concerts. It is important for us to provide space for new talents and to offer a platform and reinforce the voices of those who can contribute to creating change. We must be the amplifier that we have the opportunity to be. To inspire, and instill hope”, says Anders Wahrén.
