The title track on La Mano’s ‘Fabricca’ EP is a deep and evocative piece featuring heavy-duty reverbs, distant snares and gorgeous arp melodies. ‘Fabricca’ marks La Mano’s return to his Sound Du Jour label, following his 2021 ‘Tarvisio’ EP, which launched the label, and a remix for MAN 2.0’s ‘Synapse’ on the imprint shortly after. Since then, he has gone on to release on Mélopée and Tusk Wax, as well as a remix for Man Power on Me Me Me alongside work on releases with the likes of Andy Ash, Marcus Christiansen and Demetae via Sound Du Jour.
‘Fiume’ is up next on La Mano’s ‘Fabricca’ EP. It’s an ever-evolving dreamscape on an electro tip, digitised birdsong occasionally breaking through its vibrant layers of harmony. This is before ‘Onda’ closes out the release via rich pads, a gated vocal, and club-ready drums – it’s the perfect finish to another versatile and melodic offering on Sound Du Jour.
La Mano ‘Fabricca’ releases via Sound Du Jour 24th May 2024.
