Summary
Poképark Kanto, Japan’s first permanent Pokémon theme park, is finally opening its doors in Spring 2026.
Set to open on February 5, 2026, the theme park spans 2.6 hectares on the edge of the current Yomiuriland amusement park. Poképark Kanto will feature two sections: Pokémon Forest and Sedge Town, where Pokémon Trainers can come across over 600 Pokémon. Pokémon Forest, a spacious wilderness, is built with numerous terrains like hilly paths, tall grass, tunnels and rocky trails. Meanwhile, Sedge Town will allow Pokémon Trainers to hit up the Market, Pokémon Center, Poké Mart, Gym, Pokémon parade and two other unnamed attractions.
SoraNews24 reports that just like Universal Studios Japan and Super Nintendo World, Poképark Kanto will need an add-on admission ticket to a Yomiuriland ticket. Either a Trainer’s Pass or Ace Trainer’s Pass is also required to enter the Pokémon Forest.
Poképark Kanto opens February 5, 2026. Purchase tickets via the official Poképark Kanto website.
